You have to imagine it was knee jerk. The family is pulling him to LSU and we have other issues. Malazhan probably won't be at AU next year and AU has possible sanctions in the future. Not to mention AU is going to be a very different team next year. Likely not a very good team at all without a QB, much less a defense that continues to suck under Chiz.
I don't see how he can ignore this. I just hope LSU decides to stay on him to NSD...they have plenty in their favor they can negative recruit against AU. This kid might be set on leaving the state though, who knows.
BTW Memphis, you think Ego will make a impact next year. I'm wondering why he didn't get PT this year? I know he came in late, so I imagine his conditioning isn't where LSU wanted it to be. Hoping he makes a big impact next year, going to need some DTs to step up with Nevis leaving. Thread hijack but I don't care...

I'd rather not until I can finish getting all the details. I am still trying to find out what all went down. I have an AU buddy assisting me as well. I am not one that spreads info without it being precise

You are right about conditioning, but it was the LA heat and humidity he had trouble adjusting to . Around near the end of fall camp he started showing the coaches what kind of player he is and there were a few smiles on the staff. He did end up redshirting though.

They also asked Ego to get up to 300 pounds as well, so it's hard to add that kinda weight and still stay conditioned. I think Ego will be a force next year

Why make excuses about or for GR, he wanted to go to Auburn. It definitely hurts our class and we all wanted him but he sees a better opp there. Good luck to him,
