Damn. Thought he'd last longer.
My favorite TE in this class.

Mine too, and Charlie Weis loves using TE's so this is a great pick considering he is the 4th or 5th TE taken

Probably could have waited until my next pick for this guy... but when you see a guy you love, you don't leave him out there for the chance to lose him.
Todd Barr, DE/DT
Just watch the vid... the kid is a pleasure to watch. Total high effort player with good athleticism and quickness. Basically it just comes down to the fact that I love the way that he plays the game and that Cal has one of the best DL coaches in the nation to develop him. Rivals lists him as 6'3, 265 and a strong side DE while ESPN has him at a more modest 6'1, 265 and listed as DT. Not sure where I plan on using him yet, but I'd kill myself if I let him go and someone else grabbed him in the next few picks. Plus, check out that stache.

Guy that took him bailed.

He was Enfuego'ed. He was chosen by someone no longer in the draft.

Pasty, I assume I draft right before Yetty. Can you fix the main page to put me back in my spot?

Brey Cook, OL, Arkansas
Monster of an offensive lineman that can pass block just as well as he can run block. For a big guy, he has some natural bend to him. When he engages, he finishes with authority. He's most likely a RT. He has the opportunity to earn a starting spot as a freshman.

I know it's early, but has anyone made what they call a "mistake" so far with the draft?
In other words, selecting someone who would be considered a reach, not selecting a player because you thought they would make it back around, not looking at a player close enough until that player was chosen, etc.
I bring this up because I think I made one. With all my scouring through the rankings, I passed this players' name at least a dozen times. Until today, I had never even looked at him as a possibility. After having looked him up, I would actually have chosen him over some of my picks, and now am sweating the fact that he might not make it back. So far in every round, the guy I was hoping to fall to me, has not made it, so it doesn't bode too well for the player with me.
Edit: Un-fricking Believable. As I was typing this message, Hand went ahead and selected the EXACT player I was mentioning. Cook is already attending Arkansas, and will see playing time this year. Next year, a starting spot is all but guaranteed. Great pick Hand(job)!

I regret passing on Kiehl Frazier with my 2nd pick. Thought he might fall due to the Auburn hate on this board... planned on getting him in the 3rd...oh well. Guess it's Stephen Rivers or bust!

Not yet, but I am petrified right now about my (hopeful) next pick. After the first 5-6 rounds I think we won't see as much of that any longer as we'll have gone through 75% of all the "top 250" recruits

I think both this pick and my next one will be "reach" picks, but they are guys I really want, so I'd rather not risk them being gone.

Interesting. I would say my next pick will likely be considered a reach, but I like his potential and probable early PT, so I'm taking him rather than risking him being gone next round.

Hope we aren't talking about the same guy, haha.

I think here have only been like 4-5 reaches so far, if that many. Everyone's been doing a lot of best available so far.
