This is probably going to be unpopular. In my opinion, the guard from Riverside is better. I think is name is Jared Butler and he is going to Bama. He is smoother than Smart and is jumper is way better. Wish we could have landed him.

smart is also 6'6 and he really isn't more athletic than Smart.. Trust me I'm a big fan of Jared been watching him since his freshman year. He just never really got taller or more athletic and that will be a big achilles hill for him on the next level.

I bet when you go out to eat, you're always jealous of what someone else at the table ordered.

We will just have to agree to disagree. I think Smart will do well at LSU. I just wish they could have signed Butler as well.

I personally don't lol.. I just don't see him being that good in the SEC. He is a solid/good basketball player but he will struggle to get his offense going in the SEC.. And being a 6'2 shooter isn't ideal especially when he will have trouble creating offense. You can find wings that can also guard which is what LSU has in this class right now.

Riverside is no different than Curtis or Evangel except on the basketball scale.
Those players usually have no ties to LA or LSU.
Avery knows how to play the recruiting game and is probably lucky they weren't involved in the Fed deal.

Seen them both play, multiple times at the same tournament. Javonte is better. Jared is really smooth though but he plays with better people around him. Last year and this year at Scotlandville it was Javonte and then 4 other guys basically. He remains in total control of his team even though the opposition knows he’s the one person to stop. He’s special.
