Rivals needs to adjust their site for mobile browsers.
Man that's awful

Not that I've been a fan since the guy years ago admitted bias in the rankings, but does anyone else feel like Rivals rankings are more discredited by the 3* no recruit/recruit controversy from last week? Just can't put in stock into them whatsoever.

Looks like 247 is most reliable. We have known this for a few years now. ESPN has always been dick, Rivals has lost credibility and gotten worse IMO.

I was Rivals subscriber for several years until they had their Signing Day black out episode. That day was the tipping point, I had already noticed a drop in product before then.

Highest jump in the whole rankings?

You guessed it a ALABAMA commit

DESMOND EVANS wDE from North Carolina is uncommitted and had the highest jump of 29 spots.
Commits from UGa, Texas, and that school also had players move up 25 or more spots.

To be fair on Braswell Rivals was behind on his ranking. They're just catching up.

The largest gain doesn't have a number attached. S Chris Thompson from TX jumped to 48 from outside of the top 250

Thank you, i didn't notice that.
Just looked at the #s a bit more and think that we can all appreciate to work that Coach O and the LSU staff are doing on the recruiting trail.
LSU has 5 in the top 100. UGa and the other school only have 2 each at this point.

Agree and kind of suprising seeing as though Bama is at 10/11 commits also. Im proud of the job the staff is doing on the trail. They've made some mistakes and had some misses, as everyone does, but overall they're keeping the cupboards full

1. Koy Moore
2. Ashaad Clayton
3. Kayshon Boutte

Funny thing is, people say 247 Composite is the best, but how can it be any good if it uses both ESPN and Rivals rankings? GIGO, IMO. I'm still not sure how to access just the 247 rankings - not their composite.

look on the left and scroll down... 247 composite score is:
0.9362 NATL.
156 Rank History
WDE 9
TX 21
In smaller font under that is:
247SPORTS 93
Natl: 78
WDE: 7
TX: 11

Any of the ranking numbers can be clicked on to pull up the list for that position or state.

All services have hits and misses, biases, and limited resources. The Composite minimizes errors and outliers.

People also like 247’s own rankings because their outliers seem to be more accurate than others.

Your sarcasm exhibits a profound lack of understanding of recruiting rankings. These are businesses. Businesses make money by taking in more money than they spend. A recruiting service company spends money by scouting and evaluating players. But they have a way to get this work for free, thus reducing their costs.

They have figured out that there are over 100 recruiting services out there, and they can get second hand, indirect data from all of them FOR FREE. That data is offers extended and, even better, committable offers. They know that the recruiting service least likely to be settling for their second choice is called Alabama. So it’s natural that they give the most weight to an offer from Bama. Do you think they should give the biggest bump to Tulane’s recruits?

Your error is in assuming they are actually spending the money to evaluate these guys. If they were Rivals would not have given a three star rating to a non-existent recruit.

Can also see the top 247 by going to FB REC then player rankings and at the top of the rankings the composite link (is the default) is on the left, 247 on the right.

And yet they are one of the best teams year after year.

Almost like the rivals rankings were accurate

Exactly. They blew out Clemson too. The recruiting sites are science and have no biases.

I've talked up Koy multiple times, but he as the top prospect in the state is a big stretch. Guys like Boutte, Roy, Guillory, Clayton, and Douglas have more upside. Jalen Lee, Eric Reed Jr, and Bud Clark are up there as well IMHO.
