Better than many would have expected at this time, with a lot of great players still out there undecided. Who said this was going to be a down year in recruiting for LSU. It looks like they are addressing their needs nicely, esp. at LB.

We'll still be on the borderline 9/10/11 area. Many teams behind us have more room than us, and unless we finish with Collins, and a stud DT, I don't see us moving up or staying where we are.

None of this really matters in the grand scheme though.

Not really. LSU has several guys that will get their ranking significantly boosted, IMO. Louis and Raymond didn't play last year, yet they've been getting praised. Especially Louis in camps. We'll be a top 10 class.

We have a shot at finishing above both Alabama schools for the 1st time since 2007.

But I won't be confident about this though.

I think we have a decent shot of maybe finishing in the top 10 if some things fall our way, but prolly finish around 4th or 5th in the SEC.

We will finish strong with Collins, Richie Brown, Vadal,Deval, maybe Winston...., and a number of our 3* will go to 4*. I absolutely trust how this staff evaluates talent.Top 5 when it is done meaning as much material to win as any school in the country.

texas #1. big surprise. they can do less with more than any program in the country. and winning their conference was a one game thing before nebraska split(ou of course)and now, w/o a championship game can be a tie situation. i have lost all kinds of respect for that school, esp. sportswise and their "entitlement" attitude. according to ranking like these year after year, texas and alabama should be in the title game every year.

Of the top-ten rated teams, Aub has least number of commits. How many will LSU sign for 2012, as AUB will likely sign 24-

BASC, that list was an error. There is currently 3 SEC in the Top 10. They fixed the team rankings list
