I know, yet another thread on Phillips... But, what else do we have to do until Feb 1?

The verdict: "I'm taking LSU because it's a more natural fit for Phillips scheme-wise, and the lure of the SEC and playing on a great defense will be too much to pass up. Oklahoma has a solid defense for the Big 12, but it can't compare to LSU, and the number of NFL draftees on that side of the ball speaks to that in recent years." - Mike Farrell, Rivals.com National Recruiting Director

I like his thinking. Hope the young man comes on down.

LSU: "I believe the LSU coaching staff, including personnel director Austin Thomas, has done an amazing job with Phillips the last few months. The fact that Phillips and his family visited LSU unofficially on their own dime speaks volumes. I think the draw of SEC competition, LSU’s need at linebacker and Dave Aranda are what ultimately flip him to the Tigers." – Mike Scarborough, TigerBait.com

LSU allowed 16 TDs all year. OU gave up 8 in one game.

Delete this thread please. Only negativity and bitching about how we won't get anyone on signing day are allowed. Clearly, bc these kids haven't announced in our favor yet, we can assume all is lost.

Love,

I think Phillips, Gay and Queen have decided to play together (at LSU) - my only remaining wish list items for the position at this point are Chaisson (Buck) - and maybe, just maybe Taylor (Rover?). that would be a full corps of guys probably starting in 2018 or 2019 together - like the Dome patrol.

Taylor - I highly doubt because we seemed to get into the running so late.
