Whats the deal Darick Rogers? Hasnt he been a UGA commit for awhile? What the hell is Dooley telling these recruits?

UT recruited one of his teammate in HS and Dooley used him as a package deal

Is going to play safety for UT.

Ambles will probably fo to UNC. That puts our WR class at Milton, Hunter, and Rogers. They should compliment eachother nicely.

if rogers flips to the vols, then they've got a pretty good streak of landing NSD/Post-NSD switches

Bryce Brown/Nu'Keese/Janzen and now Da'Rick

I will have to give Dooley credit if he pulls out your recruiting class - it looked have fallen apart a few weeks ago. I am sure everyone would agree that a Hunter/Rodgers combo would be niiice.

The QB of his high school, and their family helped raise him, and Nance (the family) the father, is pushing him in the UT direction to get his son there as well.

It looks as though he's proven himself to be a servicable recruiter. Now it's time to sit back and see if he can coach.

I guess they feel like he'll stay closer to home at Tenn/UNC

Ambles took a visit to Knoxville this weekend. They went to crazy lengths to get him there...

OBUDan... That would be ironic if TN picked up the highest rated three receivers in '10 after Kiffen left...

but unless Bray develops quickly...who is going to throw them the ball

If Kiffin had stayed we would have ended with Milton, Prater, Ambles, and Hunter.

some of their signees will count back to last year's class
So I guess that 28 player cap the SEC imposed last year has a loophole. Auburn will sign over 30 this year and the new rule is meaningless.

Kyle Prater

Either way for TN that is 3 out of the top ten Rivals rated recievers...and that is just sick...and to boot Milton's profile says he is 6'6" with decent speed...

1 Kyle Prater 6-5/205) USC
2 Da'Rick Rogers (6-3/206) Georgia
3 Markeith Ambles (6-2/182) list
4 Mike Davis (6-1/185) Texas
5 Ivan McCartney (6-3/180) list
6 Darius White (6-2/205) Texas
7 DeAndrew White (6-0/170) Alabama
8 Justin Hunter (6-4/172) Tennessee
9 Chris Dunkley (5-10/164) Florida
10 Martavis Bryant (6-4/190) Clemson
[full list]

and think not too long ago we were looking at Hunter/Davis and possibly White...my how things change quickly...

when you consider how LSU is finishing and what their positions of need are, then yes, it's a disappointment.

you're telling me we shouldn't be disappointed that LSU is not in the thick of it for the likes of mike thornton/jeff whitaker, etc. at DT?

like it or not, this class is closing with a whimper rather than a bang.

it's an okay class...not great.

the decommitments and whiffing on backup plans is something worth gnawing at.

but, finish with boone and copeland and you salvage something, at least.

Why the hell anybody would go to Tennessee or Auburn is beyond me????

the same goes for LSU.

How in God's name do you figure that, Egg? We've won 2 BSC National Championships (tied for the most of any school) with 2 different coaches (only school to do so), and we'll be estimated to be at NEARLY even odds to reach the SEC title game in each of the next 3-5 seasons...winner of that game goes back to the BCS Title Game.

Retarded comment, on your part.
