After watching most of the video involving Ricky Seals-Jones I can tell you as a LSU fan I would have preferred if somehow we tried to keep Kyrion Parker (maybe by offering Tavares Gardner) versus trying to make a run at RSJ. At 6-5 and 220lbs. I expected much more in his match ups versus some rather small db's out there. Ran a go-route against Kendal Fuller and another db while creating no separation as he began tracking the ball. On both occasions once the ball got there RSJ gave a lackluster effort in trying to haul in the pass by barely putting his arms up instead of attacking the ball at its highest point. Lacking straight line speed is one thing but if you have a height advantage at 6-5 he has to be more explosive.

This is one reason I'm totally against rating a player who projects at a certain position as opposed to a wr who is more natural in his position and is currently playing it. I saw a lot better wr's out there at the challenge who were better in their routes and catching the ball. I think RSJ needs to be moved to the ATH position opposed to be rated as a wr.

You're going to get destroyed on here for that. He seems to be a fan favorite around here. I totally agree with you though. I would have been happier with Parker.

There was no either/or with the two WRs. We didn't lose out on Parker because we were pursuing Seals-Jones. We would have taken them both.

We lost Parker due to geography and his inability to be away from his mothers side for more than 24 hours.

Yeah, it took him some time to adjust, but didn't he have multiple 45 TD receptions during one of the games. Can't teach his size, and would love to have him in this class.

Me too. I think he backed away from Texas to see if he could get a better deal. Not saying money, but maybe PT Or the like. I never really saw him coming here. I'd like to get him, just not seeing it.

Yes he did have multiple 45 yard TD Rec. on sunday. However, those TD's were all against zone coverage where the safeties just lost track of him. It wasn't like he did this in straight man coverage. Sorry.....The earlier post is just how I see it...Look at the video for yourself.

We are not worthy, he is probably going to bama or USCw. See how easy that is, that is the mindset around here anyway....

I don't think it's because we aren't a suitable school. I just don't think he ever really left tx. I know how people act on here but just wanted to be clear with that. I'm not one of those fans with an inferior complex. I think we are worthy of any player.
