So where does he go for next fall?
Posted on 4/28/19 at 7:56 am to TigerMan02
Says he'll announce it this fall.
Jeez....can you imagine if he had JT Daniel'ed it and came in this class with Stingley, like he mentioned in the article?

As for his commitment to LSU, everything remains status quo there.
COMMENTS "I'm still rock solid, 100% locked in with LSU," Ricks said. "They know what's going, they know where I'll be next year too, I'm just not ready to announce it yet. I love LSU and love what they're doing. I'm still taking my official visits but that was always the plan and they're fully aware of that too.
"I'm going to visit Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and USC in addition to LSU. The only date I have is with Ohio State week 11 for the Penn State game. I want to enjoy the experience but LSU is home for me and I love the coaches and environment."

Ricks will probably be a 3 and done Player. I would rather have him come in for 2020 after Fulton leaves. We're fine at CB for the 2019 season.

He could reclassify. Play in 4 games and practice with the team instead of playing highschool football and then be the most prepared "freshman" of all time and still be pseudo 3 and done.

Probably IMG.
I am sold on Ricks and hope he will be the rare ambassador/recruiter for LSU there. But we can't count out N$ and his network through the IMG pipeline.

If he reclassifies, we don't have a scholarship for him until Jan. So if he does, he will most likely go somewhere else.

and where tf did you think Delpit came from his senior year?

Correct, but I would rather have Ricks one extra season after Stingley leaves. Redshirt or not, Ricks could still declare 3 years removed from high School even if he reclassify...Which would put him and Stingley in the same draft class.

We've landed our fair share of IMG athletes. I never said we hadn't.
But so has Saban. He does pretty well for himself luring young athletes away from LSU at IMG. That's all I was saying.
Throwing one player in my face isn't even an argument. I could do the same thing by mentioning Surtain Jr.
All I was saying is that Saban holds clout over there. And alot of it. It's pretty much the generally accepted consensus.
