Return to running back U

We always talk about dbu, but running back is where LSU has more nfl players than most any other team. The tigers currently have an amazing 8 running backs on NFL rosters (I think Ohio State currently has the most defensive backs in the nfl).
While Brossette and CEH have performed admirably, this year is the fist year I can remember in I do not know how long that LSU did not have a feature running back in the category of a Fournette, Guice, Alexander, Hill, Ware, Faulk, Hilliard, etc.
The commits of Emery and Davis should help keep LSU as a factory for NFL backs. And as much as LSU needs to improve its passing game, you need to be able to pound the ball when you have to.
LSU is every bit as much RBU as it is DBU and Emery and Davis should keep that tradition alive. As much as we all wanted to believe Curry was SEC ready, he wasn't. There is hope for him yet.

Add Zach Evans to your list for next year too.

Who cares? I guess it's nice to be recognized for that, but we haven't done shite with the great players in those positions. I'd rather win it all and get no recognition!

win it all without a great QB
Can't agree with this, LSU done it twice and Bama several times
Times maybe changeing but it's still all about the D

Need to get back to DLU. Thats when we were winning championships and why Bama continues to win.

Nice try numb nuts. I see you left out the "hard to" part.
Ah name calling; you're a mature individual aren't you
with or with out "hard to" the statement holds true, the emphasis is on GREAT QB which is where my disagreement comes from.
now calm down have a beer (if of age) and except that its ok for people to disagree

FIFY it should have read accept. English isn’t the strong suit apparently. Cheers anyways.

You're still stuck in the past. Bama is Bama, so of course they are different. One of the times LSU won, Mauck threw for 28 TDs, and the other Flynn had 25 total TDs, only playing in 12 games.
Outside of Bama, nobody has won it without great QB play.
2010 Cam Newton
2013 Jameis Winston
2014 Cardele Jones was the freaking third string QB in the off-season yet dominated the post season, the other QB was top 3 heisman favorite before his injury.
2016 Deshaun Watson
2017, Tua Tagovailoa
QBs that have had good seasons and played in the playoffs
2014 - Mariota, Winston, Sims, Jones
2015 - Watson, Mayfield, Cook
2016 - Watson, Mayfield, Browning, Hurts (his rushing really helps him out here)
2017 - Mayfield, Fromm, Tua
This year is more of the same.

I knew that didn't look right thanks for the correction,

Typically we've had stud RBs and stud WRs but somehow continue to suck overall offensively.

Without looking, I only came up with:
Guice
Fournette
Spencer Ware
Jeremy Hill
Alfred Blue
Who am I missing??
