I would take him at Southeastern, but I am sure the NCAA would still have to clear him. This is BS that it is taking this long.

Same scenario happened with Richard Murphy and Craig Loston. I remember it was literally the day before the opening game and we were still wondering if they had been cleared. They were...at the last minute.

Heard thru the grapevine that MJ won't be qualified for this semister. He will have to take some courses and will be qualified for next semister. This really sucks as I was hoping he would be in the rotation for DT this year.

How is it possible for a player to graduate from a private school and not meet the classroom requirements? I understand if he didn't make the ACT, but not having his core? St. Paul's is a good school.

Don't know. From what I am told, St. Pauls said he is eligible and so does LSU. The NCAA isn't agreeing.

"Four-star DT Mickey Johnson won't enroll at #LSU this fall. He tells me he will retake two courses and enroll in January"

That kind of sucks.

I'll trust the coaches, but I still wish we would have taken Chucky Hunter in last years class. Especially now that the numbers would have worked out.
