Fla. Is getting thier usual haul of elites but seems they underperform. You have to give it to OU on floor they have some awsome choreography. If they have a strong gymnast they play to that strength and if they have a sexy gymnast KJ goes that route.

It is absolutely blowing my mind that 1/2 of the US world's team is tied to Utah (Skinner, McCallum and Eaker). Utah is really hitting home runs with these recruiting classes, we could be seeing a huge resurgence of Utah in the next few years as a gymnastics powerhouse school.

Was wondering were Eaker was going. looked really solid at the ships. Outstanding on beam. As too what Utah has to offer I've never really heard except big crowds. I think they can offer to get married and pregnant at a real early age if they want. Don't know.

Eaker was after for sure...she committed just a few months ago iirc; not sure about McCallum...for some reason I always think she’s committed to OU, probably because Maggie and Trautman from her gym are at OU.

Grace committed to Utah in September 2017. I remember because I was floored by her at P&Gs a month before and was hoping she’d be on LSU’s radar.

GM retired right after 2015 NCAAs, so McCallum also committed well after his retirement.

Did anyone hear anything about the inter-squad? How is everyone looking? Who competed on what events? January can not get hear fast enough for me.

In terms of the freshmen, Kai, Kiya and Ryan are all impressing so far. Kiya Johnson will be competing on all 4 events from the get go, she is that good. Kai should be in on 3 events (vault, bars and floor). Ryan will get time on both vault and floor, she is dynamic there. Olivia Gunter has had some very nice routines, I like her a lot. She has looked great coming off her injury.
There are some girls that are still limited. Ferrer and Desiderio for example. Getting Alyona back will changes things significantly as well. Alyona is able to do some things but rehab is going as well as it can so far.
This freshmen class will have a significant impact and I think we see it immediately opening night. Best freshmen class by far we have had in a few years.
Sami Durante and Reagan Campbell have impressed so far, expect a bigger year for both.
