LSU's Press Release:

LINK

This quote from Jay is not promising for those thinking MK is coming back for a 5th year. LP, SF, and JC only make three Seniors, looks like the coaching staff isn't looking for McKenna to come back.

“Kiya and Kai are incredibly dynamic all-arounders that will impact every event right out of the gate,” Clark said. “We are going to rely on them to come in and fill a lot of the needs that are produced by the graduation of our four seniors.

Better to be prepared for worst case scenario, Kelley hasn't seemed very open about returning based on comments this fall

The coaches seem over the moon confident about what this incoming class will bring to next years team. Especially Kai and Kiya, they believe they can bring 8 routines 9.9+ worthy..

I really hope Caitlin Smith can keep it together and improve this last year before coming to LSU.

Getting in Ferrer early will help a lot too. She will be an immediate starter on the leg events. She is in that top small group as well to contribute on bars.

Well especially if she's graduating she may just be ready to move on with life

Curious if Finny stays as a graduate assistant. I know grad school is the plan for her after she graduates. This is Gnats last year here.

Ready for 101 so everyone can see some of the great routines we got this coming year. I’m honestly excited about the kids on beam and the changes made on that event. I expect big things from Campbell!

From what the coaches are talking, sounds like Ferrer will step in immediately as an all around contributor. Vault, floor and bars. Beam we will have to see how she does in person but wouldn’t be shocked to see Ferrer given some chances in the all around. She has been training very hard all fall and has looked very strong on all events.

Campbell's Beam Routine

Everyone should love it, much more fluid than last year too.

Edwards big vault

There isn't a video but fans will love Bridget Dean, she is aggressive and decisive in everything she does.

I was able to make it, and I thought they looked great overall.

Julianna & Finnegan both had lovely fulls as usual. Kennedi stuck her vault in the warmups and Edwards vault was great as well. They have some depth to play with 10.0 vaults from McKenna, Ruby, and Ferrer when she arrives.

Bars seem to lack a little depth after the 5 returning routines. I think Ferrer will fill that open spot when she arrives.

I was pleasantly surprised with beam, because that was the apparatus I was little worried about. I really enjoyed Sami's beam routine. She has beautiful hand work and of course her lovely toe point. Bridget and Sami appear to be the two that will fill the open spots. They were both fluid and didn't have any errors today minus the tiniest check from Sami during her aerial. I much prefer Campbell’s beam routine this year. She looked great. All of the girls stuck their beam dismounts.

They all have new floor routines. I really enjoyed Ruby’s new floor routine compared to last year. She led them off, and looked good. I didn’t have the best angle to see chest positions, but nobody had any falls today and they looked in great condition for early November.

I’m so excited the season is fast approaching! Let me know if y'all have any questions.

Keep in mind we still have a month and half to clean things up come season time. Its all going to look really strong in about the month

I fully expect this sophomore class to step in and expand their roles this year with bigger scores

Do you know if Kirby is dealing with some kind of injury right now? She didn’t compete at all today, but I didn’t see any obvious injuries.

She didn't compete in the 10/19 intrasquad either so there must be an injury. Hopefully she'll be ready for season.

Also, it's still pretty interesting Morgan Hurd and Riley McCusker didn't sign with FL this past week. Still plenty of time for them to sign, but historically, athletes will sign their NLI and then defer until after the Olympics. I sure would feel better seeing either of them on a Wheaties box or on Dancing with the Stars rather than a Florida leo.

I don't see Morgan Hurd ending up in Florida. If she doesn't screw it up she likely makes the olympic team. She is already getting hounded for endorsements already with more opportunities

I don't think Riley will be able to compete leg events in college. I'm not even sure she can stay healthy enough until 2020 to make the team, not to mention the Juniors who will be coming up. But, she would be a serious 9.925+ on beam and bars every time out.

Just venting here so don’t mind me.. but seriously how can UCLA manage to get two amazing recruits in the past month when they technically don’t even know who their coach will be? Or do they... Regardless, recruiting must come a helluva easy for them.

And can someone also please explain to me how Florida manages to also get the elite of the elite every. single. year. I mean I get the appeal of LA to these girls, but Gainesville?
