Awesome! So why isn’t there ever any coverage of these? Are they still competing today?
Posted on 5/28/18 at 7:37 pm to GeaauuxxFan
they are done
I can't say much about Emma, I don't see her official scores for the second day.

Tigerbait, I found these scores from the Auburn Qualifier this weekend. Emma is listed with two sets of scores.it's a long list of gymnasts. It doesn't look like she competed everything on the second day. Maybe you can determine whether or not she qualified.

Is Kara Eaker recruited? Has LSU had contact with her? Seems to be a very strong all arounder and I can't find where she has committed. And Leanne Wong. Both are from GAGE.

LSU is recruiting all of the elite gage gymnasts, Eaker, Jafree Scott, Wong, and Jeffrey
All have visited LSU muiltiple times over the past year!
UCLA wants Eaker bad

Let's hope Kara will see through the glamour tactics that are used to reel in recruits at some colleges. She would be a jewel for us on beam and bars. It looks like recruiting is becoming more of a battlefield each year.I'm sure it is stressful for the coaches to watch what goes on and not be able to change the dynamics of the process.

Wong has an Amanar!
I’m pumped to see the massive upgrades from Olivia next month!
Tori Tatum has some wonderful upgrades in the works as well.

YEP, Wong is awesome. Have you heard whether or not we are getting a transfer?

If we do get one it’ll be from Lizzy Leduc but she hadn’t made a official descion.

Bryant is going to change up some of her routines for next year
It always shocked me she never tried to go elite, she could do it easily.
Friend of mine at Paramount said Caitlin Smith hasn't trained lately. Not sure what is up with her. She competed like one or two meets early this season but only on some events then is done for the year. Little concerned with her development, she has some serious talent, but not training a whole lot these last two years will hurt her. I heard she had some type of injury earlier but don't know that specific.

It's good to hear that Bryant and coach see the need to change some of the routines. As I've said L10 competitors are showing more difficulty in the routines each year. I think LSU has enough gymnasts that need development and they will think seriously before taking on more. That takes up scholarships that could be for those who are healthy and ready to compete.

Good for her, I saw Sunisa Lee got injured!
Wonder if she throws some of the upgrades there or at classics

I really like how smart Dunnes coaches are pacing her and her upgrades. Her scores are about to jump up big time!! Dunne is working a few combos on bars that aren’t shown anywhere. If anyone wants to see one of her upgrades it’s on her Instagram
She is suppose to add a half twist to her vault as well. Only place she really needs to build on a lot more. The full is scored so low at the elite level, it hurts her all around score

I gathered from the tweets that are popping up...
Every time you post I’m hoping for new commitment news...I’m sooooo impatient!

Soon..... soon...

Not sure how long Lexie will be out with her surgery, McKenna will be back at it before you know it
Getting Ferrer for this upcoming season will really help out, on vault and floor!
She should be a mainstay on both events, I don't trust Priessman's body to hold up on floor by the end of the year.
The question for this season comes down to beam. I expect Campbell and Desiderio to up their scores, as well as Edney. I think Dean is a favorite for one of those spots, the other will be wide open. I wonder
Still haven't heard anything on Leduc, just been a OU and LSU, and maybe Michigan battle. I heard something about her possibly retiring early but that wouldn't make sense to me...
Since Dean didn't compete and was held out at times due to back spasms, I wonder if we could use a redshirt on her. The large class freshmen class last year was by design but I wouldn't think that we had the intention of leaving that one class as a whole, there would be a giant gap in the roster

Do you think Gracen Standley will compete this year?

She had a surgery recently too
If she is to compete I would think it would be bars, but still has work to do IMO
She isn't bad but has a tendency to rush handstands and overall body lines isn't perfect. Just small nitpicky stuff that can be deducted.
That last bars spot should be fun. It will be between Dean, Campbell, Ferrer, and Kirby. IMO Kirby is ranked #4 of that group from an ability perspective.
Campbell didn't train consistently on that with a wrist injury last season, Dean had back spasms as well. Both are pretty good on it.
I think Ferrer has a lot of ability too, just needs to clean up a few things but she has a routine that is capable of scoring very well at the NCAA level.
Standley Bars routine
Ferrer Bars
Look at the differences in the technique and just overall form, its a pretty big difference.
Posted on 6/10/18 at 7:30 am to Tigerbait357
Both could benefit from cleaning up the flexed feet and handstands but Ferrer is quick and has the ability to sell the routine. I often thought they took Standley for
bars. That appears to be her strongest event according to past years of competition. I hope she can develop and compete before her time is up. It is always sad to me for those that never compete and just stand on the sidelines.
