I wasn't flaming one bit, I was agreeing with an LSU poster who thought they should move on. I think LSU has loads of talent already and will only continue to add to that.
Fair enough, my apologies.. I obviously mistook your quote. I don't, however, agree with your statement about 'loads of talent already' at the wr position. After next year with the way it stands now it will only be RR that is proven. TT is gone, CT is unproven coming off injury, Shep will be who knows where, and Hunter might have redshirted. Wright is a very good receiver and with the loss of Davis I'd suspect and expect the staff is on him pretty hard.
You should understand that LSU plays 3-4 wideouts most plays and sometimes runs with 5. They need 'at least' twice that many to cover for injuries, poor performance, etc. jmho

it agreed we need more than 2 recievers on the roster, but i've never been to blown away by TR so moving on is good with me

You don't think I have watched LSU pass all over Auburn for the last couple years and the WR's run wild?

Air Force

Early Doucet was not small by any means and he was about as built as they come
Usually small when talking about WR's means height. Doucet is 6' 0". That is relatively small for a WR.

Watch that spanky with the Air Force. You jarheads are funny folks. Running around yelling oorah doesn't give you the right to pull the spank on this old AF guy. LOL At least I have the good sense to be a fan of the LSU tigers not the Auburn tigers/war eagles/plainsmen/etc. whatever.
J/K I respect the USMC very much. I actually was Air Assault, went to survival school, was a field commander, and was on an aggressor team. Believe it or not we have a little of that oorah crap in the force as well.

Officers don't yell hoorah, it is an elisted thing. For the record I was prior service (AF enlisted AD) and I didn't like it at all. I was a CBRNE specialist and did the whole UXO, EOR bit.

You only need about one small shifty guy per team per year IMO. Theres no point in having 5 undersized WRs because then you have to rely on really precise route running and hoping to get open field throws. The taller WR's do a lot better for us, especially with less than accurate QBs because they can make plays on normally unplayable balls. If we miss out on Reed its not that big of a deal. Sure we'd love to have him but since we really dont feature that sort of WR it wouldnt be such a bad thing to wait till next year for another to roll around.

Holliday is the only small guy I can think of and he wasn't exactly an every down WR.
Skyler Greene was pretty small. Had the same role TH except he caught more passes and played a lot more.

This is true, and also the reason why I am an Auburn fan. I must not know shite about LSU then...

When I think LSU, I think guys like LaFell that jump over you to get the ball and play physical.

Lafell isn't really that physical. He's better at getting open on short to medium routes and gaining yards after the catch.

OK hoorah guy, that just went right over my head. So you're an Aubie fan because Skyler caught more passes and played more? WTH
BTW, I was ex-navy enlisted but was smart enough to get out of that nonsense and join the AF. Went to night school and eventually got a BS, MS, and a commission. They called us 'mustangs' back in the day. Old (50) retired guy now. Wife enjoying the heck out of the fruits of my labor. LOL Still married, what can I say.

I did a program called Palace Chase which allowed me to leave Active Duty and return to school (I already had 2 years done at Auburn) to get my degree. With OCS out of the way we just wait to graduate to get commissioned. I only have to do some small training events and PT unlike those d bags in ROTC.

DeAngelo Benton
That's Benton's fault. He came in really rusty. He didn't run the right routes and dropped some balls early on. If Benton is awful this year, I will join you in calling him a bust.

Reed is a Tiger, a Thibodaux Tiger, and LSU coaches seem convinced he wants to be an Auburn Tiger, not an LSU Tiger.
Dude is going to the "second fiddle" team in Alabama....can't see Auburn beatinng LSU and Bama in the same year to be SEC west champs....
maybe dude don't want the big stage.
