I don't follow them very closely. What's the lowest LSU has been ranked in the last 10 years.
TIA

Pretty good average, probably 6-8 annual average. Just a guess.

Thanks. It amazes me how one or two kids can affect a ranking. They should rerank them in 4 years.

More or less in the top 10 with one or two just out of it and that was when Saban was here and maybe once with Miles. I think.

They do get Re ranked in 4 years.... It's called # of national championships.

And so far we are tied for first. I'll take that.

They would soon go out of business when people see they really don't have a clue.

Look, I am the furthest thing from a negatiger and I contribute to this board more than you and most people on here but that statement is incorrect in correlation with recruiting rankings and the Les Miles tenure at LSU.

In the Les Miles era we have 0 national championships where his recruits were heavy contributors. We are on the right path but we have to be honest about our situation. He has not handled QB recruiting alongside of QB coaching well at all. That should change this year(hopefully with Mett) but it has been the programs Achilles heel the last few years and has shown on the field.

People are not realizing how much losing Keil is actually going to hurt us. We need to hit on a big time QB recruit next year to keep up depth and competition at the position in the fluke case that Mett goes pro for some reason next year.

I'm as pissed off about Keil as the next guy, but it doesn't mean the sky is falling. We will still be good, and continue to be good.

And miles led us to the greatest regular season in LSU football history. I'd say he's recruiting just fine.

What the frick does that have to do with ANYTHING?

Did Saban coach up "his" recruits that one year in 03 as Freshmen, and Miles took his scraps? He didn't further their development at all?

Its as if you're saying just because they were recruited and coached by Saban for 1 year, that Miles had nothing to do with them improving and becoming NFL players.

I would say he is recruiting better than fine. He is a recruiting machine imo. He just has not had the luck with QB recruits since his tenure began(Perriloux, JJ, JLEE, ZLee).

If he has any weakness as a recruiter than that is it. I think he is honestly trying to change that and that is a great thing for our program moving forward.

I was simply pointing out the flaw in his argument. That's all, no need to go full rantard. I am big Miles supporter(always have been) but I also admit the truth and do not have to sunshine pump to make me feel better about my fanhood.

I think one of things we tend to forget is that JJ was if I remember correctly the 13th rated pro style QB when he was recruited. Please correct me if I am wrong. Came in with an O-cord. that did not know his arse from a hole in the ground. Just seemed that the guy and Lee was not properly developed. Anybody remember where Lee was rated?

Look guys not making excuses for Les or anybody, but it does have a bearing on how player performs.

All we can do is hope Les has learned his lesson and that Krags is good as advertised.
