Why can't Coach O wait until the newer/better verbally commits to inform the other guys to look elsewhere?

I would think it is safer to do things this way. This way, there is less potential of dumping the girl you brought to the dance, then the chick you are chasing leaves the dance with someone else?

Thoughts?

Because then you're fricking over an 18-19 year old kid even more.

This way they at least have a chance to talk to other schools.


This is the "nicer" way to do it.

Who says we didn’t? Just because a commitment isn’t public doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t a commitment.

The 2 signing days have made this more difficult now as well bc most of the uncommitted big fish wait until February. So you have to leave room for that time gap
