Sign who wants to come early. Save others for portal and roll the rest over to next cycle.

What is our self-penalty on number of recruits lost in future cycles? Perhaps its better to eat these three this year.

Self penalties are against the 85 and not the 25. Not a problem this year.

Now that all the near-as-sure-thing OTs are off the market this is the point where your eyes-on evaluations for OL come into play. However, this year there was none of that.

So logic says you should heavily favor the guy you were able to evaluate yourself (Crawford) or a transfer with game film and experience (Wilson) over 2021 recruits. OL are hard enough to project, if you can avoid it you pass this year.


And the transfer portal isn't going anywhere. Probably not a free year of eligibility in 2021 also. If that's the case and Liam and Hines are returning you save a spot for another transfer later. The selection pool is liable to be bigger than 2022 recruits. And break out the bagman for Campbell; my idea is to stuff duck decoys.
