Ty Smith, TE, Georgia
Smith is a physical receiving tight end. He possesses solid size and comes across as kid with a thick and sturdy build. He is an active part of his high schools passing attack and is a kid who could potentially offer some versatility in the type of scheme he plays in as a tight end. He has experience as an in-line player and will also flex-out. He is a productive receiver who can help move the chains and potentially supply a big play or two. He will flash the ability to extend and catch the ball outside of his frame though he can tend to catch the ball into his body. He displays good speed and enough to challenge defenses vertically and stretch the seam some.
Ronald Geohaghan, S, Clemson
Geohaghan is a ball-hawking safety prospect with good first level production. May get recruited more by teams who deploy a bandit or hybrid type position. Has good height and a well-built that has some length and room to fill out. Has good pursuit speed and plays faster than his testing times would indicate. Quick to diagnose and react. Has a good nose for the football in both run and pass support. Will likely enter college more skilled versus the run. Takes a lot of snaps near the line of scrimmage and in the box. Shows the ability to pursue through trash, shed blockers and find the ball quickly. Flashes very good chase and closing speed. For his aggressive style of play he would benefit from added size and strength to hold his base in the box at the point of attack. Displays the range to make plays sideline-to-sideline and pursues with a motor and sharp angles. Excels in heavy pressure, attack style defenses. Shows good short-range explosiveness. Would like to see him wrap up more consistently but he makes great contact and is a collision type of tackler

Pasty selects Torry Clayton, RB, West VA
This guy is a quick, shifty, powerful back with nice hands. He is a great fit for the offense that WVA runs. He has committed to play for a raging A-hole, but oh well. They put up points like crazy.

I have been meaning to ask whatever happened to Rivals positional rankings breakdowns.....like best 5 best coverage corners, best ball skills, best run blockers for OL.....etc?
Is that now only for paying customers?

I was wondering that myself. I really liked those rankings, even though I hate Rivals.

I have you with too many offensive skill players. I probably just have someone on offense that you want on defense. Just look at the sheet amd let me know.

Nope. Completely gone. Annoying.

The only guy that might play either side of the ball to my knowledge is Kendall Sanders, Texas. He is playing CB for my squad, but he might end up at WR. That has been rumored I think.

Khalid Henderson, LB Kentucky

That was a Barry Every "innovation". I expect Rivals to go downhill fairly fast. It seems that none of their national guys give a flying frick anymore and I don't expect that to change with all of the turmoil Yahoo! is going through.

Ron Thompson, TE, Syracuse
Decent hands. Slowish. Can't block. Has only played two years of football. I'm hoping Maronne can get the best out of him.

Brandon Hill-OG/OT
Scout's Andrew Bone:
"Brandon Hill had to overcome a lot of adversity and missed his junior season of football after transferring schools. Hill improved his grades and worked hard to shed excess weight. Hill is a big-bodied player who has unbelievable potential. His moves extremely well for his size and a powerful player. The sky is the limit."

After his great defensive performance in the UA game he was worried Mack Brown was going to move him to cb. However, he has said that Sanders will be a WR at Texas.
I guess I'll put him at corner even though he won' t be playing there.
Wonderful eval!
