I've been given the go ahead by Dan to pick.
In the 18th round, Big Boy Tiger selects, Andrew Jelks, OT (6-6, 265), Vandy.
Big frame...I like him to round out my O Line.

For anyone who cares I'll repost this because it got caught on the end of a page

quote:
My best picks of the draft so far
1. TJ Yeldon - if I had a do over I would have taken him with my first pick and just hoped for Duke Johnson to fall to me in the 2nd.
2. Maty Mauk - the all time leading passer in the history of HS football equipped with an
Elite Arm LINK and
Elite Running ability LINK
3. Gaby Marks - no one is a sure thing but he is as close as it gets
4. Darius Hamilton - see above, he's as close to a sure thing as you'll find
5. Quadry Antoine - his higlights: LINK nuff said I thought for sure he would last until he bonus round or at least round 20 or so. Probable would have snatched him up early on but I didn't discover him until a few days before he got picked
6. Zach Hemmilia - going to be a monster in Rich Rod's system I regret not picking him.

So out of all the picks you only like 6? And one is your own?
Posted on 3/8/12 at 9:27 pm to OBUDan
I like a ton of picks and have commented "nice pick" several times those 6 just stood out the most.

I'm just messing with you.
Been fun having you. Your picks are always pretty original. Enjoy the perspective.

Team Dro selects Greg Brantley OL, Okie Lite
Ht: 6-6
Wt: 305
Throughout his high school career Brantley is a player who has continued to develop his skill set on the field and his strength and power off the field in the weight-room. He is quick off of the ball and will finish plays off. He plays tackle in high school, but could also play on the interior in college. He could be a very valuable member to any offensive line. He has quick feet that allows him to be a successful pass blocker.

Andrew Jelks
I was looking at him for my last OT spot. Good frame and Vandy signed a few tackles this year, so PT is a good chance with him.
Nice pick up.

My trend of picking 3-4 JUCO nose tackles will continue this year with Visesio Salt, DT Utah.
He's pretty unknown and I couldn't really find much tape on him. I love the situation he's entering at Utah - he should get a chance early, they're good at maximizing unheralded players, and he's just huge. They use multiple defensive fronts and he should get a chance to play in any of them. Some think he would be a better OG, but he will play DT at Utah.

jembeurt text me. I'm a little stunned, but he swears to go this is his pick...
So jembeurt takes:
John Lunsford, K, Liberty
He told me he just really loved his highlight tape. I don't get it, but hey, whatever floats your boat, J!
