Darreus Rogers, WR, Southern Cal
... Since no one else seemed to want to pick him.
This was one of the guys that were higher rated than Wheeler that I really looked at. He could end up being a huge steal this late. I don't think the film that is available for free is the best of what he did.

I'm really juggling my next pick. I think I'll just take 3 guys. At some point we need an inverted snake right, to balance this whole thing out?

I'll take Darius Powe, with my 12th round selection, WR Cal:
He will be playing with incoming QB Kline who was his teammate in the UA All-Star game.
This is my 3rd WR, so I'm done with position players on Offense, for now.
I think Powe is going to have a chance to go in there early and get some good playing time. The Golden Bears should be losing 3 of their top 5 WR's from last year. I think he has a strong chance to get a shot next year.

Alright, if I keep thinking about this, I'm going to change my mind. I'm passing on a player I really, really want, and I know he won't get back to me, but I don't want to lose this second guy.
With my 12th round pick, OBUDan selects:
Halapoulivaati Vaitai, OT, TCU
Vaitai is a tall tackle prospect with massively long arms and great athleticism. He needs to add some bulk, but he has the frame to do it. He moves exceptionally well. Initial punch isn't outstanding, but I feel it will come when he adds the bulk/muscle he needs. I think he projects as a LT prospect with high upside. In my zone blocking scheme, I need guys that can pull and trap and move, and he certainly can. I've been considering him for 4-5 rounds now, so I'm really happy he's still there.
With my 13th Round Pick, OBUDan selects:
Jordan Moore, S, TCU
I just can't pass on this upside. Moore has legit track speed (track offer and original commitment to LSU...frick!) and a ridiculous frame 6'3, 205. On tape, he flies around the field, and he's not just straight-line fast... good fluidity and hip flexibility. He could grow into a huge safety, or slide down to OLB (I'm unsure where I'm going to put him). Moore can hit and he can cover. The crazy thing is, he's ridiculously raw. He played WR for most of his HS career, until being moved to safety this year. His recruiting didn't pick up a ton of steam, until the end and coaches were able to get his safety tape. Anyhow, he's more of a hitter than a tackler, and he's very raw and almost all upside, but I feel like playing under Patterson at TCU is about the best possible place to go to maximize talent. Anyhow, I'm sure he'll do nothing and I'll regret passing on the much safer player, but I was going to be livid if Moore went anywhere in the next two rounds, so I had to have him.
A little extra reading on Moore

Nice pick I was 50/50 on taking him in round 14

For some reason, I knew you'd be the one guy who liked him. He's really physical for a "track" guy.

With my 13th round Selection, I'll take Trae Elston, Safety, Ole Miss:
Highlights
Hugh Freeze has his work cut out for him, in attempting to rebuild Ole Miss. However, with his first class there is some signs of hope for that program. Trae Elston is one of the bright spots in this years recruiting class for Ole Miss. Though I passed on Elston multiple rounds, being as though I picked you Deon Bush earlier in the draft, and am somewhat surprised to see him this late in the draft. I had to pick him up. He is a ball-hawk, who will get playing time early at Ole Miss. I wish he was coming to LSU, however, being the last line of defense on the Ole Miss defense, he will probably get his fair share of chances to make a play.

I had to show the west coast some love. I'm surprised he fell down to me, so I had to pick him, though I was eying a TE as the last non-QB skilled position, had to sacrifice it. I think this guy Powe is going to do very well.

QB Cyler Miles UW
RB William Mahone Irish
WR JaQuay Williams Aubie
WR
TE/WR
LT Derek Edinburgh LSU
RT Paul Thurston Nebraska
LG
RG
C
DE Channing Ward OM
DT
DE Jelani Hamilton DA U
OLB Josh Harvey-Clemons Georgia
ILB (rolls) Royce Jenkins-Stone Michigan
ILB
OLB
CB Deon Bonner Tennessee
CB
S Marcus Maye Florida
S Cyrus Jones Bama (could also be a stud WR)
I really like my team so far. Deon Bonner is my wildcard because he has some character issues. I think Cyrus Jones will be an All-American one at whatever position he ends up playing. Kid is a top 25 player IMO. William Mahone is in the mold of Rashad Mendenhall, and will carry the load for Notre Dame soon. I think Channing Ward will be an All-SEC freshman, and start from day 1 at OM.

I was looking at him today, and missed/forgot you snagged him. Man, he has really good tape. His incident at UGA undoubtedly hurt both his recruiting and site ranking. He's really good.

I know the guy can flat out play, and if he can just go to class and be a law abiding citizen he will make some money one day.
I'm was excited to add him to my secondary.

Dooley defended him pretty hardcore. It's good that that was his first and only offense. Kids make mistakes all the time, so hopefully he just made a mistake and will get his act together.

Reminds me of my supplemental pick of TK Flemming last year.

hopefully my guy doesn't wake up on some white girls bedroom floor and not know where he's at.
