I think that the only thing that separates a lot of the average drafts is the ability to find a quality QB. So many top guys get buried on depth charts, transfer, just never quite get their opportunity until their junior/ senior year.
My draft the first year was nothing to write home about, but my QB that I drafted in the 15th round, Sean Mannion, was the starter for Oregon State after Red-shirting. He looks to be their guy for the next 3 years.
Drafting a 4 year starting QB in the PAC 12-10 whatever raises the quality of your draft exponentially.

I really like Verlander's draft so far. He capitalized on the defense-heavy draft strategies of many of us to get two top-5 running backs early and then the Mauk pick is a great one in the 4th round. Westerkamp also fell surprisingly far.

I love Ward, and I like some of your other dudes, but I'm not familiar with a few of them.

I like how you have two guys with hyphenated names
And the Ward pick was a great one, especially going into the disaster that is Ole Miss - he's gonna get a big chance early

No he didn't. I actually think he went a few rounds too early. JMO though.
I am not saying he won't be good in college. I really liked him, and had him pegged as one of my targets for WR. But the highest ranking at his position he had on the four major sites was 36. He would have fallen at least a few more rounds.

Kinda pissed, because I liked that Carnes kid that's now their backup QB. Should have burned a supplemental pick on him.

He struck me as a guy that was a sleeper for a lot of people who has a great shot at early PT with his height and speed. I see what you're saying though. I have a problem with overvaluing tall fast WRs

At this point I like everyones team. Everyone should have plenty of talent at this point.
I still stand behind Cyrus Jones as my best player. I just think he has that it factor.
My defense should be sick if JHC pans out.
Channing Ward is going to be a frea“

I like SunTiger's draft a lot, but he has some work to do in the trenches in the later rounds.
I wanted a decent QB this year and think I got a really good one. And if you don't get one of the top offensive lineman, the middle to the end of the talent pool isn't a big difference IMO.
So far I like TigerPhan's team. Desiel has some big names and may have a great team if they all pan out. Dude's team is good too.

None of the rest of my picks(if things go as plan) are rated in the top 40 at their positions most are not even top 60

Hey whatever works for you. My teams aren't anything to call home about.

Pasty selects Peter Jinkens, LB, TX
6'1, 210, 4.45
Nice athlete. Very quick to the ball. Carried the ball quite a bit at the HS level.
