I was going to take Louis if he would've fell down to me. Good pick.

McNeil was my top choice, so I'm a big disappointed he's gone. I've been battling around with who my 2nd pick would be and now I'm not sure who either will be. Give me a few to finalize.

Do you know anything about him? I liked the little bit of him I saw.

And while I'm at it... Dan and Pasty, y'all are doing a great job and everybody so far has been on top of their game. Great group this year.

He reminds me of Loston. I can understand why Shaq and Landon and 1 and 2, but I don't get why he isn't number 3. But of course, I don't think they showed him playing coverage in any of his highlights.

With the 6th round pick, OBUDan selects:

Joel Caleb, ATH

Caleb plays QB in HS due to being the best player on his team, but he's likely headed to WR at VTech. He's not a blazer, but he's a big, physical kid with good quicks. I liken him to Anquan Boldin in that neither has great speed, both have great size and both are just "football players." VTech is ecstatic to land this kid, and chances are he will play right away for them. This is the best recruiting class in their school's history.

For my 7th round pick, OBUDan selects:

Tyler Nero, DT

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this kid doesn't get more love from the services. Only Scout has him in their top 100. Check out his tape: LINK. It's like JC Copeland's, except Nero has legit size. I didn't plan to take Nero here, but I'm sick of players I love getting snatched up, so frick it. Nero plays with great explosive and leverage. I'm placing an emphasis on creating pressure with solely my front 4 and I think Nero now gives me 4 guys that can do work all by their lonesome. So look out, QBs.

There's actually a WR I liked more than Caleb, and I still may take him, if he keeps falling, but his grade issues concern me.

Mckinzy was actually a player who I was thinking about taking with one of my last two picks, but took a gamble thinking there would still be OLB's left. He would be the biggest linebackers that Auburn has on the team, if he plays there, and from tape he appears to be a pretty aggressive player. Auburn is pretty young in the LB position, but I think that he is going to have a shot to get PT early. He was one of 2 linebackers that they got in this class, and I think both have a good shot of getting some PT, not sure if someone else took the other one off the board yet.

That's who I was debating between with McNeil. Caleb is a tough, tough player and Nero is Mickey Johnson with Josh Down's energy and explosion (plus he's a second generation college player which is always a plus).

In terms of just ability, I like Collins, Thompson and Travis fricking Blanks ahead of him.

But I still think Collins will suck due to the fact that he's an ignoramus. Maybe I'm just holding out hope.

With my 7th round pick in the RMD, I select, Marvin Bracy, WR commit to Florida St.:

Highlights for this past season

Though he is small, and I already have DGB as a WR, I think that his speed is going to be utilized not only on offense, but special teams. Two sport athlete, and one of the fastest guys in this country. Not only has he stood out on the track, but he had a pretty good performance in the Under Armour All-American bowl with this spectacular catch.

Trey Metoyer? We should have that on the first page or something.

Are you looking over my shoulder?
I didn't see him when I read the past draft earlier, thinking that the black line, from the guy who dropped out, was the bottom of the field. Not realizing, that was half of the # of people in this draft, , just me being a dumbass. I was thinking somehow people would've passed on him, and think he would never come back up.

Regarding McNeil:

Every hit on his film was a "de-cleater". I think he will do well in the SEC. I really wish you wouldn't have taken Caleb. He was my next pick. It will be interesting to see how VaTech uses him.

Nice one.

Youd be like the 4th person that tried to redraft Trey.

This. I had to double check twice wondering how he was still around.

That's too funny.

BTW, I'm running a spread option offense.

I suppose I'll be running a 34/44 defense. Looking at what I've got, and what I'm targeting, realistically. Hopefully I get that other CB I want.
