This is a big deal. Hill is a very talented RB. He brings some things to the table that Hilliard and Magee don't. He is a solid back and I hope he is an LSU tiger. I hope LSU hasn't stop calling or contacting him. I have a hunch that he really likes Bama. Makes me sick to my stomach.

To say we don't need a kid like him is just idiotic and you have no clue what you're talking about. Is the kid a trouble maker like Perrilloux and Fleming? No He, Collins, and Hilliard were the first few to join this class, along with Randle and Freak.
This is a kid who loves LSU and wants to get his visits in and enjoy the process. Going to Bama would put him in the same type of situation he would be in here.

Hopefully we can wrap him up in the end!

Redemptorist RB Jeremy Hill has decommitted from LSU and plans to take all of his visits.
Good for him. Best of luck.

I think it's a concern because I think he is a very good RB. I hope he chooses LSU again, but I don't know if we'll get him back unless the staff, with the help of Collins, starts recruiting him hard. What's his next favorite school? Alabama?

Hopefully he is just flirting with bama to get his ranking up then he will give them the shaft and come back to us as a 5 star!!

Screw you Lester it's a huge deal
next year, as it stands, we will have
6 RB's on the roster.
7 if Magee plays RB
8 if Turner is a RB.
Ridley will be a SR, the rest will be SOPH(Ford, Ware, Blue) and FR (Gore, Hilliard, Magee, Turner)
by all means Hill is a great player. But it's not really a huge deal. We are set at RB whether he re-commits or not.

How so? LSU Has been loaded at RB since 07. If LSU can lose out on Mcknight and keep trucking, they can damn sure survive Hill. No disrespect to the kid he is a great back.

hope he stays but if he leaves there is a extra schollie for another player. can't keep'em all wish we could but it's not goin to happen.
Posted on 12/6/10 at 11:08 pm to Lester Earl
And again Lester you're acting like they're all the same players with the same tools and will have the same production and will all end up playing running back. Basically just a flood of terrible assumptions on your part to try to shrug this one off like this doesn't affect you.

I only want him at LSU if he wants to be here.
Let him make sure this is the place he wants to be.
I have no problem with it.
Until they sign, we have no players in this class.
Signing day all will fall into place. It always does.

Ok I agree with that I misunderstood your original post.

Blue will get passed up by a lot of them. He did later in the year this year, even when he was healthy. He just learned the playbook a little faster
Gore is a change of pace back, along with Magee. Turner is a WR or CB
Which gets us at Ford, Ware, Hilliard, and Hill.
Plus, if Hill leaves, watch Collins head out too

All this + that 6'3 4.4 forty monster at Crowley high coming out next year. Sorry no big deal.

I hope we keep all three because they will find some kind of a role and help us win, but I actually like Magee more than most and believe he will be a better RB than most people realize.

we are very deep at running back if there is a decommit thats where it would hurt the least
