Big time. The insiders bet against him 2 : 1.

are these the same insiders that told you Charles Scott had an ankle injury and wouldn't play in the next game?, and the KW would get 18-20 carries?

I went to St. Martinville so I won't throw stones at Leesville academically. Generally speaking, having a 3 pt plus in high school equates to being capable of 'keeping it between the ditches' in college.

What is he majoring in?

I went there and i will.

Do you really think that the faculty would let the biggest recruit in decades be academically ineligible?

I'm not saying that he couldn't hack it, but somehow i doubt that his high school experience was very challenging.

Can be and am wrong sometimes. Look at my posts. I address isues that are controversial and open myself to foot-in-mouth illness; but give me credit in opening isues that most want to close their eyes to. Ford is in big trouble with his grades. It's a fact. The question is will he be elligible for spring ??? Many say he won't.

This is the first I've heard about this. Where are you getting your information from?

LINK?

To be that confident, it seems like that would be documented somewhere. Hope this is wrong.

I'm just saying that a lot of the recruits came from similar high schools to Leesville. Maybe a little better, maybe a little worse, but I bet that Rayville, Bastrop, and other schools with good football teams are pretty similar to Leesville.

We knew about Ricky-Jean's grade issues well before he was ruled ineligible. I have read nothing on any site saying he was in trouble academically. I had heard that he would be available if absolutely necessary for the Bowl game.

He would not be if his grades weren't up to at least par.

I would guess the semester is in the books by, I'm not sure, but I don't think he can even practice if he's academically ineligible.

I don't remember if RJF practiced.

LSU will get Lache why are you guys doubting yourself.

Lache would be gravy, but this class does't do or die by LS. His importance to this class diminished somewhat with the RB's LSU has on board for not only '10 but '11. In no way is this demeaning his ability, but his importance to LSU isn't what it was 6 months ago.

To say a student is academically struggling and may not be football elligible is slander ??? To comment about a 18-19 year-old who is representing a institution and receiving a 100-150,000 scholarship not classey ??? Dude, life is harsh and competitive sports makes it even harsher . Each athletes is accountable not just on the playing field, but in the classroom. What you read on this bulletin board is often far more accurate than what you see in the daily newspaper's sports section .

you hate any RB not from the MPSAA. Fake Charles Scott injury news, fake Charles Scott declaring pro news, constant KW bashing, Ford bashing. Man!

High schools in many places thru the state have a 25-30 % drop out rate . Kids , in that setting, sometimes "get" a diploma (ie. not earned it.) The 16-17 ACT minimum that kids need to have play their freshman year, has nothing to do with note-taking skills, test taking skills, or study skills. They are crucial. Many recruits haven't them and need tutoring. In regards to Ford, we will know his status soon.

Let's be honest here, a CFB player at a big time school isn't taking classes the same way that normal students are. There are some borderline mentally challenged guys who make it through schools across the country all of the time. I'm sure the only way Ford could have any issue is if he's just not going to class at all.

Hey I know that there is talk of picking up some more backs. There is a guy from here in Florida by the name of Hank McCloud. He's an all purpose type guy. He has great vision and is VERY fast. I think you guys should check him out on youtube.

Maximus... KW bashing ???? I was kinder than most and was upset that he got hurt... KW was running hard...And CS ???? 1) He was nicked and played inspite and 2) he should have gone pro (but I was wrong) and thought he almost had to based on he had a)nothing more to show, b) the 09 NFL RB draft class was weak, and c) his running style made him at high risk for injury. My rants are spot on with my own thoughts and prejudices... some wrong... some right. Maximus...don't knock me that I mow yards, I'm pretty good at it.
