Great shape with Mingo and Tahj.
Good to great shape with Randle and Sentimore.
Good shape with Kelly.
Need some help with Montgomery, XSF, Myles, Jarvis Jones, or Richardson.
Oh and Benton is visiting this weekend and should be reporting in June, but may or may not sign a LOI Wednesday, conflicting reports on that.

What up, it has been a while. New job has me away from the Rant during the day except for lunch.

Thanks RAT dude! What about Duplessis, Stinson and Lacy? Are they gone pecans? Anyone else possible as of right now? How many more can we take for '09?

What is the reason for Benton to not sign on NSD? On another thread, a poster said that he would be joining Randle, Downs, and the other Bastrop guys at their ceremony.
I also wonder if we are waiting on Jarvis's decision before (if?) we give Tahj Jones a CO.

Duplessis is already enrolled in school, Stinson committed to Bama today and Lacy will likely do the same. Total class should be between 27 and 29.

Just that hes not in school anywhere and has already signed 2 LOIs before. He still might, but I have also read somewhere he might not.
Supposedly Tahj has a CO already and is a done deal. If Jarvis wants a spot things could get more complicated, but that is a longshot right now.

Any LBs coming in who can contribute right away on D as opposed to special teams? Also, I had thought Duplessis was in school, but didn't see him on the TD commit list...perhaps I missed him. Is he an '09 or grayshirt? Thanks again...a LOT!!!

I will be PISSED if Baker doesnt see some PT this year...
We are in EXCELLENT shape with Randle, dont worry about that.

Benton is here, but I dont know if he is elligible or not, I havent really payed attention to him. Its getting kind of ridiculous that he cant qualify...

Just don't why after all this time he couldn't get his house in order well before June.

I'm of the belief and understanding that he's been working out quite a bit and is even more developed at this point.

Academically good or not the guy reminds me a lot of Chad Ocho Cinco...who in fact had to go the Juco route before making it into D1 football.

He has to sign one. I think the confusion is whether or not the recruiting services are going to consider him a signee for their ranking purposes.
