If this kid wants to go to a school that is going to go on probation over LSU, then he must not want to compete.

It wont look good to any recruit coming out right before NSD, especially someone you think you might "steal" from another school.

You dont know anything for sure yet. Nobody thought what would happen to Penn State did.
But even if it's fairly minimal, it's easy for any coach to recruit against Miami with any current kid they have committed who is thinking about going to Miami. "Just look at the NCAA putting them on probation/sanctions, do you want to be a part of that?" - All they have to say to steer a kid away from there right before Early Feb. The notice couldn't come at a worse time for Miami.
