the real question is: "Is he the best WR in the state, yes or no?"

Well, Bama has obviously been getting very picky about who they give their scholarships out to, so either they think he's one of the best in the country, or they're playing some cruel game with this kid just to stir up doubt in LA.

It would be interesting to see what Bama sees in him that LSU didn't when he attended an earlier camp (sorry I didn't know that originally).

Or maybe LSU has decided to go hard after another tall receiver, and didn't want to send a negative message to that recruit.

This really is a messy thing, this recruiting.

In the last 18 mos Saban has moved to recruiting by mass mailings.
Literally hundreds of thousands of 18 yr olds in Guongdong Province got offers to start at Jack Linebacker last year alone.

I hope he is not burning bridges. Who knows...AL could want to greyshirt him (not out of realm of possibility).

He wasn't at JR day. Sonny confirmed it. Said the early report was a case of mistaken identity with Bridgewater.

To answer the question if he's the best wr in the state can be yes or no really. If Diarse,Jefferson and Lewis are considered wrs then absolutely not. I consider all 3 of those kids as athletes because all 3 are being considered at db by LSU and most teams. Lewis is the only one really up in the air as to where he would play at this point. Of course all 3 could end up at wr later. If those 3 are athletes and presumed dbs then I say yes Falkins is the best wr in the state that I've seen so far. As the past 2 jr days show, there are kids out there that have never been heard of by most of us so another could be sitting out there waiting to be discovered. I would also put Tredavious White ahead of him as a recruit that could play wr but think he also is a db. Just my thoughts and others may differ.

Really not concerned yet, because if eligible I think we get D'quille Williams.
