Guy was an elite player in this state before his injury and is still going to be an elite player for us in the future. Very happy to have him in purple and gold.

It was if he looked like he was going to be back to his pre-injury form, which is apparently the case. There is a reason the staff was taking a more wait and see approach until now. If it wasn't for the injury, he would have been offered earlier, and would have probably accepted earlier.
