I'd be suprised if we offered or he really tried to get one. If he shows up to camp then we can talk.

He is sloppy in the body. Edinburgh and Austin were at one point as well so it can be improved.

I hope LSU passes on him. I think he could make a great OG.

The services are split on the guy. 2 have him rated 4*, the other 2 3*. The main preference I have is 1 more OL just like Frank Wilson said he would like to obtain in a recent interview. Marina, someone else, I don't think it is important. But 3 OL in a class is not very many unless Lawson switches over to OL.

I read one evaluation that said he and Boutte were better than LaEll Collins. Just saying. Has he been are is he coming to the lineman camp at LSU? I read somewhere that Alabama was after him hard.

Pretty sure if Miles and Co. think he's worth it, they will offer.
They have proven to be dead on with most recruits, no matter what sites grade them.
I am glad we have them at LSU

Boutte is really, really good, but La'el is better. KSM has been eval'd several times and not been offered. If he were actually better than La'el Collins, he'd be committed somewhere right now. Alabama recruited him hard early, but declined his commitment twice already, as I stated earlier in the thread.

As a general rule, I completely discount anyones opinion that uses ridiculous hyperbole like saying a guy that doesn't have an LSU offer and was not able to commit to Bama is better than the top OL in the country 2 years ago.

Well the guy said that about Boutte before he blew up people in the camp he attended. I am just curious as to why both didn't attend these camps. The guy has the size and the person who claimed how good these kids are saw both. Just saying, I think our coaches are the best at evaluating talent and Coach Saban aint bad either.

I can't compare him to Collins or even Boutte due to lack of a lot of information. His offers seem to be Alabama, LSU (difference of opinion by the services), Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Miss, Miss State, Nebraska. Those aren't exactly piss poor offers but then again, the services don't go to the trouble to update offers that are conditional, may not be around anymore due to other commits in the meantime, etc.

His 6'6" 320 lbs approximate size certainly isn't ridiculous, and like lsufanva said, lots of players show up that need to be put in SEC shape. I know LSU is getting visits from other OL and he may still be in the mix also. I also know that some of the very highly rated OL that LSU has offered, the school is not in their top 3 or so. Anyway, I would still like to see 3 DL, 1 WR, 1 OL, and 2 secondary guys which would add up to 26 total which has been stated here by others is the limit for LSU this class (early enrollee of course making the difference). If you heard the radio interview with Frank Wilson recently, that is pretty much exactly his breakdown.

Why are you so mad? Wasn't it obvious I was stating that Alabama couldn't sign KSM if LSU were to offer. Enjoy the compliment and move on.

Capstone, I don't think Bama has any worries from LSU with KSM. Just let it play out a little longer.

I said this a few weeks or months ago, and Bama fans disagreed with me, but I'm of the opinion that he doesn't end up at either school.

I don't know what Bama's board looks like at Guard, but they've definitely gone in other directions at Tackle. I'm not sure what other schools are in play for him, but he'd be a good get for a mid level SEC team or someone comparable.
