Jennings was on it. Kid looked good.

You could work for Rivals with that killer insight.

I would just like to know why Hayden Rettig was never mentioned around any of the elite 11 camps, did he not try out for any?

Those "camps!"
Why go to those camps if you are committed?
I think it is risky for injuries.
Randy Livingston was a victim, of those "camps." He was jet-setting, even after he signed with LSU, attending a camp in Chicago...he had an extremely severe injury....and he was never the same!!
I think, anyone with a history of injuries, especially, should stay away from such events, even if the sponsors pay their way and all that jazz. It's almost as if the sponsors are trying to dislodge the kids, from their committed school
Both Rettig and the Georgia QB, have had career interrupting injuries.

I'm not sure he's been to any sort of combine or camp since his injury

Jennings wasn't committed during the time of the Atlanta Elite 11 camp. I'm not even sure he had an offer at the time, which is probably one of the reasons he competed in it.
One thing's for sure, he beat out some pretty good QB's in Atlanta.

I guess they are trying to improve their game.

That, plus to compete and get noticed by bigger schools.

i'm sure there's a lot of benefits from these camps. being coached by trent dilfer and company is an opportunity that these kids can't pass up.

I thought Rettig was there as well. Am I wrong?

The word I've gotten is that his knee injury did in fact keep him from competing in any of the elite 11 tournaments

You can get hurt in practice or walking out of your house in the morning. These kids can't live in fear everyday. Stop spewing your negative bile all over every thread.
