PSU QB Paul Jones... Updated - Not coming to LSU...

I heard is on LSU's campus today. #2 PP QB recruit in 2010. 6'3" 237lbs. I have no credible source, but was wondering if anyone else has heard rumblings of this?

This is kind of odd. Heard that LSU was looking at PSU backup Bolden earlier this week. We have two qbs coming into the 2013 class. No way we are taking three unless the staff is certain Mett will leave after this season or they are not confident in the backups.

Yea, he has had academic eligibility problems in the past. Not sure his status now.

Ah, 2010, not 2011. Got it. The benefit of him would clearly be his ability to just stay on campus today and be at practice tomorrow and at this point is further developed having some time at PS.0U. This could be interesting if he joins our team. Would be a shake up for sure

sounds like a good kid who's learned a lot from his mistakes...not sure how willing he would be to leave based on the interview though...
As much as it would hurt to lose a slot next year based on how loaded that class is, it sounds like we literally have no decent option at backup if Mett can't play.

When was the last time LSU has had a dual threat QB? Perilloux? Flynn? Jefferson doesn't count, because he wasn't a threat to throw the ball.
