Yeah because Auburn has never had good RBs... cmon dude.

Also, you never know with these guys. CEH was seen as a weak signing and ended up being the only first round RB and one of my favorite tigers ever. I for one am excited for both of these tigers.

That’s not my point

And I like both backs, especially Goodwin

My point is LSU out-recruited lower tiered schools for these guys. They should always get these guys. No need to act like Kevin is frank wilson all of a sudden.

And these guys will forever be compared to Hargrave & Logan Diggs, 2 in-state guys they passed over. So let’s see how it pans out

Goodwin is from Alabama, with no Bama offer

Kiner, from Ohio, didn’t have a commitable offer to Osu according to the Ohio St guys,

They scooped two solid backs but both over programs from a lower tier from LSU

Glad to always have somebody that wants to be here, but I would have been 100% happy if we just went after Hargrove after LJ said no. It sucked to miss out on Gibbs last year, and not even try to recruit Hargrove this year.

Lester...If I may.

You seem to think LSU may have missed out on your boy (Diggs) and Hargrove.

At least keep in mind the importance of "fit" when recruiting every position. The coaches know which players, even those of comparable talent and skills, will fit better in their particular scheme.

I don't think it is a coincidence Faulk went after the 2 he did. Doesn't mean he doesn't think Diggs or Hargrove don't have talent. Just weren't the best fit based on a number of factors.

Possesses the ideal traits spread offenses want from their running backs

Kid is a stud

Add Le’Veon Moss next year and we good for a few years

Goodwin is a headliner type back most years. I’m definitely not complaining. I’m just saying he didn’t exactly pull kids away from Bama or UGA like what was done with Smith & Ryan

Good job.

They would fit just fine, in fact both better than Kiner, and I’m not afraid to say it. They just weren’t caught up in the out of state hoopla early in the year that ended up back firing at other positions.

Couldn’t visit, the seasons were abbreviated. I get it. A mistake, but I get it

There are too many positions that are desperate for depth on the LSU squad to take a second RB unless he was "the best in the country" or there is attrition coming.
Particularly given that there are multiple RB in the top 10 in Louisiana next year.

A coach recuits a position and an area.

KF recruited RBs and an area which included Smith, Ryan and a few others he got.

The RBs he got are great fits for our O. The big power backs don't prosper behind the OLs like LSU has.
