I edited this post to remove my reply to RiseUp regarding the AISA. This thread is about Tega not the AISA.

I know him, he goes to Edgewood Academy, same school as my daugther. Trust me, he's a beast and per the Head Coach, Bobby Carr, Coach Miles told him over the phone, "we, LSU, can teach him the game and we want him". He has been offered by every SEC school + USC, Oregon, Standford and numerous others, but NOT Bama. This is his first year playing football and he ran a 4.6 / 40 in blue jeans and Jordan basketball shoes while watching practice back in the early fall... He is lightening fast, very smart, strong as an ox and the rumor mill is that he will visit LSU soon. I was just told that Coach Ed and Coach Steele will be with him tomorrow at 7AM from a very good source. He is playing basketball, along with his the other exchange student who is 6'7 basically to stay in shap. I do know that he received a call from Coach Spurier yesterday beacuse he was standing beside my daughter when he was talkng to him.....

See ya Go

Is this a violation of the no-contact period?

Or did he contact his high school coach & Prince just happen to be next to him

Edgewood Academy has also produced another D1 player who has committed to Vanderbilt - Josh Crawford. He is a beast of a running back. Yes, this is a small school < than 350 students total, but one that recruits very heavily and one that has won 58 straight football games and 4 straight state championships. They have also produced 3 D1 baseball players in the last 4 years.

Lots of talent and a coaching staff that creates talent by teaching the game while preaching god, family, grades then the game..

I think we have a good shot. Everyone's going to be scrambling, but I think our atmosphere with coach O is going to make him feel at home.

After reading this article and watching Jr Highlights easy to see this kid could really be a special talent..Amazing combination of size have and speed.. His frame will easily accommodate more weight..

Alabama and Ole Miss as well, and probably a lot more in the next month trying to make that last-second scramble now
