ive gotten the saaaame story as you from a pretty legit source very close to him. hes high on state and thinks hed fit there much better.

He's a good player and a good fit for State's system.

I'd honestly rather have Rivers based on upside.

I am not so sure this isn't an indication that we're looking for plan "C" on QB recruits.
Why are you guys so sure we have Mett's commitment? Arky (wiht Petrino) post Mallett isn't a bad deal (other than it's in Arkansas).

Prescott is more likely plan b for Bridgewater not Mettenberger.

Nearly every available report is that it's just a matter of time with Mettenberger...

Also to keep a good player from up and coming Miss St (like other coaches do). We win both ways with him committing to LSU.

Heard that last night.Could be a big reason we are after Prescott now. Both he and Teddy fit Mullen's system so would be wise to have Prescott as the backup to Teddy as a hopeful commit.Mullen could lock up Teddy if Teddy is looking for a reason to stay in Miami.

Probably not, but that plays a factor. Doesn't hurt to have an elite NFL QB mentoring you.

Dad is also a HS coach. He's got good size, good arm.

One other thing to keep in mind, the MSU coaches are pushing Dak to graduate early and enroll in the spring. If the Mullen/Miami holds any water Dak and Mullen are going to have very little time to decide what to do.

I have confirmed through Dak Prescott's mother that the Haughton QB was just offered by LSU. A meeting with Les Miles ended not long ago.

don't know why it should unless his brother is personally coaching him. Dad being a HS coach doesn't mean much, and he's a string bean w/ a mediocre arm

Well yeah he's definitely there. I saw a picture of LM with one of Haughton's coaches on the coach's facebook.
