I don't think it means he signs with us either.

Would love him to, and we would certainly make a spot for him if he wanted in, but I don't see it happening.

There will be attrition every year. Just lost Granier...players get hurt, transfer out, etc.

So what? We're only signing 17? Who all are we telling no to then les?

And since you can't count, OP has 27 not 28.

No, I always figured it would be in the 23-34 range..and you forgot to add our kicker commit..making it 28.

If not believing your sources, then sure..I went off the deep end I did nothing in this thread but bring discussion..you're the one typing like a retard.

I didn't forget to add him. I left him out for a reason. It's my opinion on how the class finishes.

If you say so. You get angry over anything i post. It's pretty childish.

Last time I checked with OOS kids the memo has always been:
"Get him to campus and anything can happen"

Unless more are processed or academically ineligible, 23 might be the max. I'm leaning toward 24/25.

So 27 could work, with 2/3 grey shirts correct? Color me shocked

WR- Gage

Don't know much about this guy, has USM and Tulane offers per 247

Must have made a big impression on the coaches at camp? Listed as an ATH, I'm guessing he plays both DB and WR?

True. But if you don't think we take a kicker in a class of 27, you're crazy.

If me disagreeing with you means I'm angry..then okay.

Last time I checked with OOS kids, the memo is them setting an official visit doesn't mean anything until they actually show up.

Yes, he apparently could hang with the best of them. And this is when Blacknail decided he couldnt.

I didn't think we had a shot at Clifton Garrett, but now he might be the biggest lock in the entire class. Get him down for a visit and you never know what might happen.

Which is very possible with the trend the past few years of guys with lower round/UDFA grades leaving

I would say one of the 13 kids already committed would be one of the biggest locks

We can have a walk on kicker, the program would still be ok.

OV's are more likely to get the kid on campus than UV seeing as the main issue is normally transportation and that's taken care of.

You are certainly the expert, but I respectfully disagree. I have a feeling a few of these 5 star kids, like Cam Rob and LF, may come down to the very last moment before deciding.

they may, but the record for this one season will not have much impact. Only coaching changes really affect things that much not a slightly disappointing season like 8-4.

Have you watched LSU football the past 8 years? Les will offer a scholarship to a LS if it means winning games. With our current kicker situation, a scholarship is a must to land a great kicker.

In areas around LSU, sure. If LSU wants to make a true homerun pitch to Jackson, his parents will likely have to be with him..and for that to happen they will either have to drive here from Cali or pay their own way for a plane ride.
