Michigan’s coach and a lot of his assistants don’t even have a contract yet, its hard to lure a top flight recruit away with no stability

Underwood is coming to LSU to be the #1 player taken in the NFL draft, not to make the most NIL money he could possibly make. Just ask him. In a day when you should watch what a player does moreso than what he says, Underwood's words and actions scream, "I'm omw to LSU."

The On3 NIL is just their estimated NIL valuation for each player. They use some sort of algorithm to come up with their idea of each recruit's approximate NIL value. It's not a statement on how much they are actually being paid.

To be perfectly fair, he’d probably do that at Michigan too

Two in the last five years. Both with different skill sets so it proves that we can develop a QB to highlight their strengths and not just to fit in to the offense a school is running

No one can say whether or not JD5 would have developed any differently somewhere else than LSU, but the fact is under the tutelage of Sloan and the offensive staff Daniel's went from a day 3 pick to the #2 overall and off to one of the best starts a rookie QB has ever had.

That gives LSU and Sloan some skins on the wall that not very mant QB coaches can boast of.

Jayden made significant progress in each of his years at LSU, which bolsters Sloan's credibility as QB coach and OC.

The kind of credibility that has kids believing that Sloan can do the same for them.

So no, he probably wouldn't do that at Michigan, who nearly dead last in college football at throwing the forward pass.

I think we would all be surprised at the package BU has. He was picked to be the cornerstone of this class and they will not be outbid for him at this point.
