re: Popular recruits we never heard from again

Good one. It's funny to think about how many times we lost some big name, high star recruit and were so disappointed, like it was a crushing blow to the program. And 90% of the time, not only did it not hurt us, but we were lucky to not get them.

I've always argued that Cam Robinson was the biggest loss because we could have really used an elite O lineman at that time, and he directly and immediately helped our chief rival. But, that wasn't a huge deal in that he never really expressed much interest in going to LSU anyway.

Would have been nice to have Devonta Smith, but it's not like we're hurting for WRs at the moment.
