What message? That they are somehow going to get left out? You LOVE that LSU is building depth along the LOS, but those are two of the top 15 DT's in the nation and LSU isn't the only major power who wants them. If they want in the class, even on the second signing day, LSU is going to find a way to get them in. They hold much of the leverage right now because they know LSU isn't going to turn them away.

No. Of course they won’t be left out. We want them but have other options should they choose to go elsewhere. Very wise not putting your eggs all in one basket like we’ve done in years past.

I think Orgeron learned a lesson after getting burned by Akers (Miles fault too) and Surtain. He showed it last year by not letting Sospher deter him from signing other linemen.
Promises and "silent" commits mean very little when it comes to recruiting.
