I briefly and unsuccessfully dug for information...

Anyone know if Orgeron has already gone in-home w/ Phillips? I know OU is sending the house up there Friday. And I know Austin Thomas has been to see Phillips

Seems like Saturday may be our final shot to seal the deal. Having O on hand would certainly help.

Pretty sure he wants LSU, thats already been established. But being a man of his word seems to be the hangup. Cant be mad at him for that I dont guess, rare these days.

Are y'all this out of the loop? His dad is the ONLY one who wanted him to visit LSU. He facetimed the OU commits on his visit to LSU lol. It was a visit for his dad nothing else. These LSU writers are just literally talking out their asses. I think y'all have a shot due to his Dad but it's 80/20 OU and he still said he wants stoops to visit Friday.

You're own OU writers literally tweeted that it's officially time to start panicking about Phillips flipping to LSU. And Phillips posted a pic on snapachat with Tiger Stadium in the background that said "home". I'm not saying he's a lock to flip but you're misinformed if you think he doesn't have any interest in LSU and it's only his dad.

Seems Phillips himself was pretty deadset on taking the visit. Sounds like a very mature and level headed young man, too. I tend to believe that Phillips will end up where his own heart tells him to go. So be it, either way.

I'm just guessing that he really doesn't know shite, he is just trying to make a name for himself by grasping at straws

Ok yea you guys are not getting the inside info on your end. Come over to landthieves and check out his recruiting thread there's tons of insider posts in there from TFB and others that have talked with him since then. He said the Snapchat of "home" was fake. He also is still doing an in home with stoops Friday so it's unlikely he's decided to flip if that's the case. Also he's still in the soonersquad group chat talking to them daily per other OU commits so take that as you will idk.

It's just crazy to me that OU fans act like elitist as if they are on par with bama and that we are beneath them, yet their last national championship was almost 20 years ago now, since then we've won two (one against them) and we've been to the title game more recently then them

Glad to see all these new OU posters bringing in solid info from the other instead of just trying to start arguments by holding up their Auburn win like it was the fricking Super Bowl. Both teams have positives for the young man to consider.

Agreed. They are classy folks who certainly have added a lot to the discussion. It's always interesting to see the other perspective. Glad the admins welcome this type of healthy, pro social exchange

And who in the hell told you that, Mr.Insider? Show us a link to all this bullshite you're saying since you're better and have more insight than our writers. Let's see it....

If you truly follow recruiting, you would know that the "inside info" doesn't mean shite. These kids are just that, kids. And they'll tell reporters and fans what they want to hear to either build up suspense, or to avoid backlash. What matters is a signature on an NLI. The fact that you downplay what LSU's recruiting guys are saying, while thinking that ONLY the OU writers know anything is laughable. Also, the fact that you're here on an LSU recruiting board means you're worried he will flip.
