Correct. Billy G had him run routes and catch passes and evaluated Paul by himself. He then came to Paul's dad and said that he really liked him as a WR and would speak to Miles immediately. Coach Crowton came later and took Paul and his dad to Coach Miles office and the offer was made.
Paul was taken to LSU this weekend to see the school. He had never seen any part of the campus before. His commitment comes as a shock to most around here because the offer was so sudden and he knew little about the campus. He was also very concerned about playing time. Kudos to Coach Miles and staff for putting those doubts to bed and getting a commitment.
ETA: Coach G made it clear to Paul and his dad that one of the reasons no offer had been made was because the chart they had on Paul listed him as 5'8" 165. They were a bit surprised to see his size when he reported to camp.

Lester Earl, admit this makes you happy b/c it gives you a player to hate on down the road.

He got hurt against Neville in week 2 with a high ankle sprain. Those highlights are in order. He didn't play against Richwood and Brother Martin.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?
On pure athleticism, Turner is at the top of the list of any player in the state.

I usually dont say this to anyone, but you dont know what you are talking about.

if Turner stays focused and works out like the coaches tell him, he can very easily make a phelon jones type of impact.

I hope he plays on D and he better hope he plays D.
Can anyone list me all the sub 6' WRs who have made an impact at LSU since Miles got here? Holliday dont count.

We have a new WR coach so this is a dumb question. It's a new chapter this year.
At both WR and RB.
Welcome aboard Paul Turner! Glad to have you be a part of the Tiger family. You're going to bring some tremendous athleticism and leadership to this team I believe!
