cue the aTm boards: aggies beating out LSU for a louisiana prospect and how everyone has faith in coach sherman's evals of a OL prospect

I think we are fully aware that he didn't hold a LSU offer. LSU has their own targets and Lewis wasn't one of them.
However, he's a good get. 4 star, top 250 player from a talent rich state.
I'm aware that A&M doesn't stand much of a chance against LSU right now, when it comes to Louisiana recruits. If LSU would have offered, I'm sure he would have been LSU bound.
Sherman did pull in a solid OL class for his first full recruiting class though. 3 four stars and 2 three stars.

Any one stupid enough to want and spend 4 years in College Station can not be counted on to make the right decisions day to day, much greater master a complicated play book of directions.
Of course A&M aggies were never know to be deep thinkers in the first place, so maybe this cro-mag will fit right in.

He is a pretty good player, but his size is really going to limit his potential. He has been doing really well at camps this summer which resulted in him getting a 4th star, but he should be a high 3 star if we are looking at him as a 'prospect' (potential college player, etc).
He definitely isn't one of the top 250 players in the country, but he is a very good pickup for A&M nonetheless.
