He has family in South Carolina. His mom went with him on this SEC/ACC tour. She is all about family and I am sure she wanted him there since it was alot closer to family. I remember for the 5 star camp she probably wasn't going to let him go until his aunt and uncle agreed to be at the camp with him. I think she had 90% of the say so in this choice

Exactly! You mean to tell me that Clemson has that much more to offer him then LSU, Bama, UF, etc. Lmao!!!! This is a joke. They are not even a top 50 defense.

Im officially done with rivals and 247. Pay sites are so full of crap. You are paying for guesses and as soon as anything is offical it is only about a 15 second lag time between pay sites and TD. TigerDroppings owns pay sites.

I was really high on pagano till he ran his mouth before the 5-star challenge got his arse handed to him then I believe he got hurt(at 5-star challenge correct me if im wrong)He really just made himself look like idiot that couldnt put his money(pun intened) where his mouth was.If he would came out after that and played at LSU's camp and tried to show people hes more than just that camp I might have cared about where he went. But as far as i am concerned right now this isnt a loss at all to LSU. Congrats to Clemson on another dline recruit can't wait to see how many of paganos hs teamates somehow get scholarships to clemson.

As easy as it is to say Clemson is paying kids, isn't it just as easy for them to say the same about us? Isn't it just as easy to say Clemson beat our offer? We bitch when Texas always accuses us of being dirty but yet we do it to other schools. We accuse Saban of being dirty but yet at the same time we believe he was clean at LSU? Hypocrisy at it's finest. Here's a hint for you guys, we're dirty too. Say congrats and move on.

Naa, I'm really happy with the coverage Rohan and the paid guys give me for my money, and I'm lucky enough to have a few places to get some other info as well. I love recruiting because its year round and full of drama, and knowing what goes on at the camps and the process and then decisions are made like today, makes it that much more compelling. Its all good

They are closer to their only NC at the moment than LSU was in 2001 and the beating they took in the OB last was by the same margin basically as the one Florida took in the Fiesta Bowl vs Nebraska. And while the ACC may not be as good as the SEC, there are plenty of NFL players that are ACC alum, including the newly signed highest paid defensive player in the NFL.

Oh well...the show must go on..I think its hilarious that none of us even thought Clemson was seriously in the running. Well I'm glad he announced it now so we can move resources on to other recruits that we are still in the hunt for.
