FWIW any time a blue chip athlete plays the switcheroo at the last minute the Gestapo (NCAA) sniffs around. They did it for RP and they are likely to follow suit in BB's case if he goes any place but Miami. It sux but it's what they do.
Please provide me a link where the NCAA sniffed around about RP. I'd also like to see where they sniffed around Janzen Jackson if you have it.
The NCAA doesn't investigate s*!t. They rely upon other schools to turn each other in. They have no subpeona power and no real power to investigate, only the power to punish.

Do you think he is worth the risk of being in the eye of NCAA investigations?

I read the thread on Rivals' Mainboard where it started.
It was clearly intended as a sarcastic joke. Then another Duck poster picked up on it, and added to it to keep up the joke.
Ex: Reason #1 why they went after Bryce Brown was because Nike only wanted Brian Butler to work for them because of his managing skills. Now they don't because Butler is looking at an Entergy job in La. and a similiar job in Tenn, so Nike pulled the offer to BB.
How this thread turned into War & Peace over nothing is really funny.

For those old enough to remember... a Bryce Brown and Michael Ford tandem could be as good as the two guys listed below. They made everyplay exciting to watch!!! Or it would be like a Darren McFadden and Felix Jones combo. Add a top QB and Wide Receiver and bingo....500+ ypg season easy!

Bryce Brown to LSU = Lache Seastrunk to Texas.
I'm ok with this scenario. I will take the #1 RB in the country...this year or next year.

And Bryce Brown not to LSU does not = Lache Seastrunk to LSU
You got that right.

Has he been arrested before?
No...he doesn't have a police record and has never been in trouble. In fact, he is a 3.8 GPA honor student that graduated at midterm.
His former high school coach has some serious ego issues, however, and is immature as hell, and demonstrated his lack of professionalism when he aired out some minor complaints he had with respect to Bryce Brown with the New York Slimes.
Personally, in my book it reflected on the lack of professionalism and immaturity of his former coach far more than it did on Bryce Brown. Like we know that all professional high school football coaches air out their former player’s dirty laundry on the New York Slimes to give their former players a leg up in their future endeavors, and never mind the fact that when those kids played for the coach, they were still boys and not yet men.
In any event, Bryce Brown responded by saying that he was disappointed in the comments made by his former coach and couldn't understand why he would say those things to the New York slimes of all things, but nevertheless he also said that he still enjoyed his time playing for his former coach and former football team and wished them well.
Ever since then the rumor mill has been hitting the fan insinuating that Bryce Brown is as bad as Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad combined on steroids, and the main reason is a lot of people have their heart set on Lache Seastrunk, even though we probably only have a 50-50 chance of getting him at best. Thus, we should pass on Bryce Brown because his former coach aired out some minor complaints in public, which unfortunately means to them that Bryce Brown is just a thug.

Given the choice between the two, I'd take Bryce Brown first any day of the week and twice on Sundays, but if I really had my druthers, I'd rather have both of them. Nevertheless, you make it sound like Lache Seastrunk is already a done deal. Do you know something already the rest of don't know?

My bad.
I've spent a month trying to forget about Janzen Jackson. I must have been doing a better job then I thought.
Still, my point stands that the NCAA is not investigating O.J. Mayo, A. Brown or Janzen Jackson. They might have an investigation open on Bush at USC, but they can't do anything about it.
