I think BB is better than Lache FWIW.

Don't you think Miles and the staff would be privy to information that may cause concern.
Miles would not do something to jeopardize this program or his 3 million dollar job.
BB is the #1 rb with Ford being #3 rb in this class. Ford knew that LSU was still looking for another RB when we were pursuing Trent Richardson heavily. I don't think Ford is scared of the competition. I would sign BB this year because you never know if Lache is going to sign or not."Bird in hand"

I heard on one of the BB threads that if he came to LSU that he wouldn't be able to play for a year. Is this true? And if so, why?

Mike Ferrel of Rivals this morning said that Oregon is likely place for Brown, since Miami pulled backed

Said LSU very high also....didn't mention UT much.. but Volnation thinks they have him wrapped up.. They have tons of chatter from inside sources...we have zip... It's almost like we don't care much one way or the other...

Ferrel also said Lache is an LSU right now, and the we stayed away from Micheals to make sure we don't scare away Lache...but said LSU recruiting brown is worth that risk..Brown that good

I think Ferrel forgot about Pratt

Being that the subject ends in a "?" I am assuming that this is a rumor.

WTF.

BB does not have an agent. He has a guy who gets to cover his recruitment exclusively. It's like having his own personal Rivals.

BB doesn't have a criminal record.

His Brother did the same thing with Butler and Miami is fine.

Butler follows a few kids recruitments and they are all fine.

What has the NCAA done to USC with the R. Bush thing when he had an actual agent, took money and let the agent buy his parents a house? (The correct answer is Nadda)

What's going on with O.J. Mayo?

These are actual violations. What Butler is doing is not a violation.

If reggie bush can have a 40 K house I think the NCAA should let us have Brown and his mentor.

Do you think he is worth the risk of being in the eye of NCAA investigations?

FWIW any time a blue chip athlete plays the switcheroo at the last minute the Gestapo (NCAA) sniffs around. They did it for RP and they are likely to follow suit in BB's case if he goes any place but Miami. It sux but it's what they do.

Probably any apprehension has to do with BB's posse and "handler." I have no clue what kind of kid he is, but butler has violation written all over him.

Agreed,
the people on this board have no clue how the NCAA and its investigative arm functions and all the chatter about LSU's possible liabilities for NCAA violations vicariously through Brown is dead false. There is little or no actual risk here, if LSU should incur some sort of liability in the future with this kid, it is easily rectifiable at that point.

His house only cost 40k in LA??? It must have been made out of cardboard.

When you put it in that light though, it does seem more reassuring about BB.
