LINK Appears his dad may have spilled the beans? I’d be surprised if Swinson doesn’t end up transferring to LSU in the coming days/week.

Good question, why would he leave Lannings defense.

He's from Georgia. He might have had enough of Oregon. That place isn't for everybody.

Could be a depth guy. He’s not an immediate starter. Apparently played well as a freshman but had a quiet soph year. We need DL though.

I really think he will be our only take at the Jack IMO. Put someone with experience in there to compete with Dashawn Womack.

From linked article by Rene Nadeau

"Swinson, who played for three years with the Ducks, struggled to get on the field much in 2022 under a new coaching staff, playing just 144 total snaps on the year.

Swinson had a breakout season in 2021 with 3.0 sacks and 4.0 TFL but was unable to find the same production with the new coaching staff."

Did anyone notice the recruits eating dinner on the 50 in that tent?!?!

I don’t think I have ever seen that!

I think he is a deptb guy. They had to get some bodies

Stimk wish they would've spent the money on the coastal carolina kid.

Now if they spend that money on another good edge then that's a different story

Can’t buy everybody. Michigan has been shelling out big time for some specific guys they want out of the portal early. There will be more guys pop up from now through the end of spring ball. Stewart is a good player though who I agree would’ve been a good Ojulari replacement. Hopefully we land Shand to go along with Swinson to supplement the depth on the DLine then get a big time edge guy at some point between now and the summer.
