The place and program sells itself. Couple that with a coach that established a culture of winning and the sky is the limit.

You go after any high 5 star that express interest. You may not get him but often a cousin teammate other relative will come along and if you impress this kid it can help you down the road. Plus like the great Bear Bryant used to say, be nice to everyone, it don’t hurt none and don’t cost you nothing. (Or something like that) He recruited black kids and their families when he wasn’t even allowed too and God only knows how much that paid off for him. He was even super nice to my dad who he knew was an Ole Miss bagman. I think he was probably hoping my dad would tell him about some kid under the radar one day and my dad said beat was known for giving Ole Miss guys info on good kids he didn’t have room for once limits were imposed.

Connections never hurt anyone.

Do we have a slim chance? Sure. Hell so does Jim Bob’s Jr College in Bumfrick, Nebraska. But the odds ain’t with us and as someone said up above, you have to wonder if time spent with a long shot recruit like this is really worth it over spending more time with a recruit who may not be as good but is still a damn good player that we actually might have at least a 25 to 50% chance of getting. Like I said though, even if it’s a long shot, you got to at least try.

This could be the dumbest post I've ever seen on the recruiting board

And yet I bet you couldn’t come up with a reasonable description of why? I literally stated that “you have to try with these types of players” even if it’s a long shot (and this is factually a long shot to land him given the CB’s he has received). It’s also “possible” though “highly unlikely” (as I clearly pointed out in the post) that he could end up at some no name school. It’s happened before. Didn’t Jackson State land a highly coveted 5 star recruit a year or two ago? I believe they did.

No, what’s more likely is that you just don’t like being faced with the fact that we most likely won’t land this player. No, you’d rather live in a fantasy world where you believe “every great players is gonna come to LSU” and when they don’t, you want to go with “well, we didn’t want him anyway”. It’s like reality is just too much for some of you.

I’m just gonna go ahead and let you know that you sound ridiculous. That’s what he meant. Your post sounded silly and long winded. It read like you just really like to hear yourself talk.

You literally said LSU should limit the the time they use on this kid because of some RPM picks
Desmond Ricks had 100% lsu rpm picks last year and how did that turn out

Daniels has been to LSU 3 times on his own dime
He’s had glowing remarks about Brad Davis
Right now it’s probably 50% FSU 30% LSU 20% everyone else so it’s not some longshot
