OK State and NOLA Native Etienne enters portal

6’8” 310. Started 13 games.

Found this in a 24/7 article about Etienne:
"While a player entering their name in the transfer portal means they intend to explore their options, it does not necessarily mean they will leave. A player is free to withdraw his name at any time. However, schools are under no obligation to keep a player on scholarship once they enter the portal."
Didn't know this risk-reward aspect of the portal.
I'm smarter today. And it's not even 6 o'clock.

My opinion is that any 6-8 310 OL that can play or add depth knows it worth the risk to put your name in the portal.
OKst will try to keep him by offering nil while others will try to outbid. Auburn did this and got some good ones.
Think of a coach that has his agent leak his name in a search.
