We don't just need experience. We need guys who can play safety and not be enablers.

If OSU wins on Saturday, the earliest their season will end is Jan 1. That's both after the date the portal closes and probably too late to be enrolled for the next semester at a new school.

Every player gets a 5-day window after their team’s last game, even if the normal window is closed. Also classes at LSU don’t start until 1/13, last date to add classes is 1/23.

It definitely gets tight for players who make it to the semifinals or championship game, but guys who play on 1/1 still have time to transfer.

I think it’s much more about roster spots filling up than enrollment timing.

Not sure how data is collected can be funny but okay.

Do you need someone to post the last 20 years instead, like other years magically don’t count, would that make you feel better?

It’s just kid of a silly metric considering how much the game has changed. There’s no denying OSU’s ability to put people in the NFL and probably a ton recently, but I really don’t care about any football stats prior to 2000. Even then, so much has changed.

You must be young, or just challenged, because some of the greatest players ever to play the game played before 2000 and their records remain. Odd take considering.

You’re right though it has changed. You have more running QB’s and the game is way softer today. The physical, tough, passionate players are no longer.

The list was showing the amount of DB’s drafted since ‘67. Regardless of what year it was they played the game in their respected year and made it to the league. Are you slow?

Different sport but you’re probably a LeBron over Jordan type of guy.

No shite the records remain. The talent level was significantly lower back then.

I’m not here to discredit players before 2000. I’m just saying draft picks in the 60s-90s makes zero justification to grab a player in 2024. Their actually production at the school is all that matters.
