Why not just let him back? Screw the ban!!! I liked having him here. He did give insight to situations where we wouldnt be hearing anything other than him. I think he was good for this board and I looked forward to his posts. These ban bets are ridiculous imo.

I rather an optimistic poster like Memphis than a chicken-little, sky is falling poster that thinks we miss out on every recruit.

Hootie was iffy at best because the kid A) was truly undecided and B) played the recruiting game, including with the guys that get paid to cover it, very well.
Even if you have sources, those sources are guessing too. Notice how many changed their crystal ball right after the "Mom got treated badly" deal? That was first real indicator of which way the wind was blowing (because it was an obvious excuse).
That being said, if you're that in-tune with recruiting, a kid like that is the last one you want to take a ban bet on. It's like betting the house on a horse that's never been on a track before.
